A pleasant, surprising bit of news this morning: After a four-year layoff following their sophomore album, Some Loud Thunder, OG blog-rock band (sorry, true) Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are back, with a handful of scheduled shows and a new album, Hysterical, set for release in September. No New York dates have been announced just yet, but we'll certainly keep you posted.

In related news, L Mag Band You Need to Hear Radical Dads, which also features Clap guitarist Robbie Guiertin, are releasing their debut full-length, Mega Rama, on June 14, via Uninhabitable Mansions, and this morning Filter premiered "Walking Wires," the second single from the album.

Below, because this is apparently something bands have to do these days, a teaser for the new Clap Your Hands Say Yeah record. Sounds promising, that's for sure.
