A four-person gang, shouting anti-gay slurs, attacked two men in Crown Heights last week, the Prospect Heights Patch reports. The attack began after 3 a.m., near the corner of Franklin Avenue and Prospect Place, where the victims were punched and kicked by two men.

The victims started running from the men, who chased them. They saw two women and ran up to them for help, but the women “produced two wooden sticks” and proceeded to beat the men with the sticks. Eventually the men were able to run away.

During the beating, all four of the attackers yelled “get off my block faggots.”
