Art Artists Buy Every Item in West Village Grocery Store

Recently the five artists behind Store Buyout went into Hercules Fancy Grocery at the corner of Morton Street and Seventh Avenue in the West Village with a briefcase full of money and bought every item in the store as the pleasantly confused owner, Hercules, added up their epic tab. You can buy the groceries online at marked-up, art market prices ($69 for a pack of gum), or just watch the whole purchasing spree in the video below.
