In her 1964 book Grapefruit, Yoko Ono outlined directions for a performance piece entitled "Painting to Shake Hands," in which performers with their hands sticking through perforated canvases shake hands with members of the public. Since Sunday, perennial yarn-bomber Agata Olek has been conducting a new version of the action entitled "Crocheted Grapefruit," which is concluding at 5pm today in Grand Central Station (pictured). Her crochet-attired minions shook hands with folks on Wall Street Sunday, and in Times Square yesterday. (Photo via Twitter)
