Truck America, the U.S. version of England's long-running Truck Festival, is back for its second stateside installment. It's set to take place September 9-11 at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY, about a hundred miles north of the city, and while only a handful of acts have been announced so far, they're certainly no joke: The Hold Steady, Okkervil River, Ra Ra Riot and Wye Oak are all scheduled to perform, with 30+ bands and comedians still to be announced. Early Bird tickets are on sale now for $99. There's lodging on-site, but apparently most attendees choose to camp, which seems like a totally crazy thing to do when there's a perfectly adorable cottage available. Or maybe just when you plan on bringing a 16-month-old baby with you. Anyway, stay tuned for more details.
