Special Events Photos: This Year's Summerscreen Kicks Off with Friday

Summerscreen, the L's free outdoor summer film series in McCarren Park (thanks to sponsors EPIX, Verizon Fios and IFC), began this Wednesday with Friday. And you know this, maaan! But if you didn't, in fact, know this, here are some photos of the people who came to see Ice Cube and Chris Tucker smoke chronic; listen to Tecla play before the show, and eat pizza, hot dogs and beer from our local vendors.
Summerscreen continues for the next five Wednesdays: gates after work, movies at dusk.
