Music Win a Trip to Northside 2012, Be the Happiest Person on Earth

There we were, surfing the Internet, lost in the make-believe world of Drew Barrymore and Bethany Cosentino, when we came across this: a contest from The Owl Mag and their tech-savvy cohorts at Audyssey granting one grand prize winner a trip to NYC (hotel, airfare, the whole shebang) for the local music festival of their choice, ONE OF WHICH IS THE NORTHSIDE FESTIVAL, which we happen to feel very strongly about. The other ones — because it would be mean not to mention them here and they are each great events in their own right — include CMJ (10/18-10/22, 2011), the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival (December 2011) and the Governors Ball Music Festival (June 2012). The Music to Know Festival, set for August 2012, was originally listed among the bunch to choose from, though something tells us that option might be off the table now, sadly.

How to win? Straight from the horse's mouth:

All you have to do is submit a photo or a story to our friends at Audyssey conveying your fanaticism and unwavering devotion to your favorite band with New York roots.
