Music Wild Beasts Remix Lady Gaga's "You and I," Remove All the Halfway Likable Parts

What a strange thing, for laid-back, atmospherics-obsessed British indie rock band Wild Beasts to remix Lady Gaga at all, yes, but especially in this particular fashion, where only a small portion of Gaga's vocal is included, atop a fairly standard bed of airy synths and theoretically dramatic piano. It feels pointless, mostly, and maybe even like a missed opportunity, given the strength of the original vocal melody and its expertly rendered 70s-style singer-songwriter histrionics. Oh well.
