The Boss Busks in Boston (Not Really True, But Almost)

Posted By on Fri, Sep 2, 2011 at 11:22 AM

Bruce Springsteen was in Boston yesterday (dropping his son off at Boston College, some say), and while taking a stroll through a park, apparently asked a busker to borrow his guitar. He sat on a bridge and noodled around for a few seconds, failing to play "Badlands," "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" or even "Brilliant Disguise." But still. Super awesome. It ain't no sin to be glad you're alive, you guys.

They're heeeere... That is, more Halloween horror favorites, a Canadian cult classic, and a restored Ken Jacobs film, which he discusses here.

An all-time great continues a theatrical revival run, a bumper crop of October horror, and an extraordinarily rare Kathy Acker film.
