Music This New Stephen Malkmus Video is Pretty Much Perfect

The video's pretty self-explanatory as far as subject matter goes — the song, the latest single from Mirror Traffic, is titled "Tigers" — but comes embedded in just the right amount of low-budget slacker casualness for it to rank up there with Pavement's "Gold Soundz" video. You can almost hear Malkmus shrug, "Sure, put the guy in a tiger suit. That'll work." Though, seriously, how much money would you have paid to have seen him in the tiger suit? Or Beck, for that matter.
