Remember last month when the producers from Magical Elves—responsible for Bravo's The Work of Art—sent out a casting call for the sixth and final case member in their next art world reality TV show Paint the Town, about twentysomething women working at popular New York City galleries? Well, you can stop waiting to get a call-back; the casting is done, and the series has begun filming at End of Century's forthcoming new Lower East Side location.

A Bowery Boogie tipster noticed that filming of Paint the Town had begun on Tuesday night at 237 Eldridge Street, former location of DCKT Contemporary and, per this Kickstarter project, the future site of End of Century's new space after having moved out of 175 Rivington Street.

Befitting the show's equal focus on the art world and its workers' lifestyles, End of Century is part-gallery, part-boutique. Its co-founder Chantal Chadwick—quite possibly the sixth cast member in question—told Gallerist that in addition to art, End of Century's new location "will sell jewelry, design goods and art books as well." No word on when we'll know for sure who the six enlisted gallerinas will be, but let's hope there's at least one big blue chip gallery to counterbalance hybrid spaces such as End of Century.
