Music Real Estate Kidnaps Radio Host, Aggressively Markets Album in New Tom Scharpling Directed Video

Bribery, drugs, kidnapping, throwing cheeseballs at strangers on the sidewalk—Real Estate's "street team" tries to lure in listeners using all of these tactics in the band's brand new video for "Easy," a track off their album Days. The cinematic climax comes when the crack team drags a radio host into the woods and prepares to kill him, but that's the end of my spoilers. The video, directed by The Best Show on WFMU's notorious Tom Scharpling (remember that Wild Flag video he did?), also features local comedic celebrity Chris Gethard, who, fun fact, even has his own fanclub of Gethard worshiping "gethtards." Regardless, Real Estate must be doing something right, as they're playing a sold out show with Girls and King Krule at Terminal 5 this coming Saturday. Good work, street team.
