This Sunday at Borough Hall, you can go to Brooklyn's first gay wedding expo. Yay? I guess? I mean yay for everybody marrying the person they love, if they're into getting married, but kind of barf for wedding expos in general. I realize that the person who rants about the "wedding industrial complex" is basically as or more annoying than the person who wants to talk about the details of their $50,0000 wedding that is going to be "perfect" and "so us" if only they can find the right etsy vendor to make the vintage-themed artisanal embroidered handkerchief place cards. ANYWAY, it's free, it's at 209 Joralemon St. starting at 10 am this Sunday, and this is really nice actually:

Proceeds from vendor fees go to Brooklyn Community Pride Center, the event’s sponsor, to improve its community center on Atlantic Avenue.

Will there be handcrafted etsyfied bird on it boy/boy girl/girl cake toppers? You can bet on it!
