Posted By on Wed, Apr 11, 2012 at 8:58 AM

Advisers to the Superfund cleanup of the Gowanus Canal have suggested the project have a mascot, the Post reports. "The cleanup will be long, boring and probably disgusting, so we want to make sure people are aware of what’s going on in an easy and fun way," one member of the community advisory group told the paper.
