Henry had been on his way home from paying the electric bill, the Post reports. He often made this trip with his brother; the latter was late for work, so Henry was traveling home alone when he was struck.
Also on Saturday afternoon, I was walking around Williamsburg, on Kent Avenue around N. 7th Street, when I saw a man sitting on the curb beside his bicycle, which lay flat on the street. A yellow cab was stopped in front of him. He appeared dazed and unable to stand for long, and was being tended to by a pedestrian. It appeared he had been in an accident.
