BOURBON AND COKE
Airships, by Barry Hannah
Again, our first thought was an old master, Faulkner, but he seems a little too mythopoetically aristocratic for the coke part (aristocratically mythopoetic?). Hannah has a trashier side that would appreciate cutting bourbon with soda pop (and would probably insist on taking the bottles out back for target practice). For extra authenticity, smuggle in your own can of RC Cola.
