Bat for Lashes, Two Suns
After releasing her Mercury Prize-nominated dark, atmospheric sophomore album, Two Suns, in 2009, Bat for Lashes, a.k.a. Natasha Khan, has remained mostly under the radar. She’s popped up every so often, to record a cover of Depeche Mode’s “Strangelove” or to play a new song in Australia, but news for her third album would likely cause many an Internet blog to use words like, “YAY,” and then later, we’d all feel really weird and icky again after reading a review of one of her shows that talks about how pretty Khan is instead of her music.
