Music Just Announced: Dean & Britta, Red Baraat and More to Play Free Northside Show at McCarren Park on Saturday

I don't know when this happened, but I turn around for one second and all of a sudden Dean & Britta (Yes, that Dean and that Britta) are playing a RCRD LBL-presented show at Northside? For free, no less, at McCarren Park on Bedford and N. 12th this Saturday afternoon, alongside Brooklyn's preeminent Bhangra band Red Baraat? Well, this just keeps getting better and better, now doesn't it?

But hold on, it keeps going: The grounds will also host a mini food-truck festival curated by the good people of Parked!, the same organization behind the August 4th event at the South Street Seaport, which will feature more than 30 trucks. Among those on hand Saturday will be Urban Lobster, KimChi Taco, Frites N Meats, and many more. Full details and set times below...

Doors at 3pm
Hume - 3:15pm
Mas Ysa - 4:14pm
Dean & Britta - 5:15pm
Red Baraat - 6:15pm

With Williamsburg Walks going on just a few steps away and the weather forecast looking pretty much perfect, it's hard to think of a single reason you wouldn't go to this.
