Last night was a big one for musical guests on the late night talk show circuit, with Jimmy Fallon hosting the first ever television performance by current internet favorite Frank Ocean, and David Letterman welcoming in the elusive Tom Waits, who played "Chicago" off last year's Bad As Me album, and who probably doesn't even know about the internet. Both were pretty great: Ocean, whose new album came out digitally last night (stream it here), is a fresh-faced addition to the world of R&B at a time when it's more in need of a shakeup than ever before; Waits, on the other hand, continues to prove that its possible for music to sound vital even while having no connection whatsoever to anything else going on. Also, how does his hat not fall off! Watch both clips below...

Tom Waits - "Chicago"

Frank Ocean - "Bad Religion"
