Pros: On a sunny evening in Chelsea, sipping beer on a historic lightship while overlooking the Hudson boasts a vast improvement to the dingy pubs and sleek nightclubs. Its New England menu (burgers, clams, etc), mostly stays under $20.

Cons: As far as we can tell, there's no happy hour, and the beer seems pricey; Coronas are $7 each.
