We're starting something new today, in which we check in with bands as they make their way to New York and ask what five things—any five things—are helping them cope with the trenches of touring. A new song they heard on the radio, a restaurant they've eaten at while on the road, an old t-shirt, a particularly twisted episode of Breaking Bad—it's all fair game. Today we hear from Ms. Best Coast, Bethany Cosentino, who leads a sold-out show tonight at Terminal 5 in support of her, you might've heard, country-dusted sophomore album paying equal respects to Fleetwood Mac and California.

1. Seinfeld

This never goes out of style for me. My favorite TV show of all-time and the grounding factor in keeping me sane while on tour.

2. "Bethany" Nameplate Necklace

I bought this on eBay a while back, but I never wear it, and it's been getting a lot of love on this current tour.

3. Jameson

Was always a Maker's fan, and then we toured with JEFF the Brotherhood who drink Jameson, and I swapped over. Jameson with a splash of Pellegrino is my current drink of choice.

4. Those Darlins

We're on tour with them right now, and they're like my favorite band ever. Sweetest people, and awesome musicians. I love watching them every night.

5. Evian Facial Spray

The best stuff ever when you get off stage. It's like a blast of fresh water to your face, and it instantly hydrates dry skin. It's working wonders in this East Coast humidity.
