Music The Best of Kitty Pryde (Not in Song, But on Twitter)

The sparkle-eyed-Claire's-employee-turned-rap-princess Kitty Pryde just announced a NYC show (all ages, sounds about right) at Santos Party House on August 22—her first NYC appearance since testing the waters out at Northside last month. In recorded form, her rhymes tumble out like a disaffected Skype conversation, slyly displaying awareness of her place in the world, while she somehow manages to rap all the emoticons. In a live setting, no giggle or squeak gets left behind. Now with a second chance to prove herself to the haters around the corner, we figured it'd be a good time to delve into her long, storied Twitter career and pull out a few highlights from just the last month. She's very good at the Internet, we've found.
