Tonight at SummerScreen: Dirty Dancing, and a Set by Telepathe!

It's going to take a lot of willpower not to make a joke about putting someone in a corner, but come out to SummerScreen tonight for our presentation of Dirty Dancing! You'll have the time of your life!
Thanks to Todd P on behalf of SHOWPAPER, we're kicking the evening off with sets from hardcore act Vaz and the psychedelic sisters of Prince Rama. And of course, our super secret surprise band has been revealed: don't miss our favorite electronic pop duo Telepathe. Plus, we'll be announcing the winning film for our August 15 screening, so you better get your votes in now. It's a dead heat between The Goonies and Empire Records, so be sure to get your two cents in!
We'll be at McCarren Park on the corner of Bedford Ave. and N. 12th St. (right in front of the tennis courts). Sixpoint will be providing $4 beers, and food trucks will be plentiful!
Doors to the park will open at 6pm, the bands will go on at 6:30, and we'll have the opening credits rolling by sundown. See you at the park!
