Music Imperial Teen's 5 Favorite Things Right Now

Hey, look, it's another chapter of "5 Favorite Things," that recurring feature where we check in with bands en route to New York and ask what five things are helping make life in a tour van somewhat bearable. Today we hear from Jone Stebbins, surely no stranger to the road as the bassist for Bay Area pop titans Imperial Teen—though it's been quite some time since we've had the opportunity to see them here on the East Coast. After a five-year recording hiatus, a tour in support of their hugely hooky 2012 album Feel the Sound breaks the silence, bringing them to the Knitting Factory tomorrow night for their first New York show in four years.

This will probably be the best thing you listen to all day. It feels good to have them back.
