Britney Doesn't Care Anymore, 2007

In her much-hyped return to the VMA stage, a dazed Britney passively dances, or at least flips her hair and sways her hips back and forth a little bit. (At the 2:48-mark, her team of backup dancers start to lift her up, then think better of it?) Cut to a shot of an unimpressed Diddy in the audience, then an even more unimpressed 50 Cent, then zoom out to a whole sea of generally unimpressed people.

Kanyegate, 2009

This was that time when poor country mouse Taylor Swift lost a video award to Beyoncé and her almighty "All the Single Ladies" and Kanye West consoled her through the pain.

Now I'mma (Not) Going to Let You Finish, Mary; 2011

On the red carpet, Mary J. Blige is in the middle of responding to an interview question about her new album... when, yeah, that's a wrap. Thanks for playing, Mary.
