Consider David Byrne and St. Vincent's show at Williamsburg Park on Saturday the final piece in merging the old and new indie elite. Capping the pair's three-night NYC run in support of Love This Giant, selections from the collaborative album were obviously played, but, as promised, so were cuts spanning each artist's career (including "Burning Down the House" and "Road to Nowhere" of the former's, and "Cheerleader" and "Cruel" of the latter's). Photographer Nadia Chaudhury was there, preserving images of Annie Clark looking lovely and Byrne looking baller, so that when the world is frozen over in February, we may return to this blog post and remember a time when everything was just as it should be.
