Something that doesn't really come up very much when people talk about the fabric of Brooklyn is that it's actually a hell of a college town. With nearly 60,000 students (that's more than Cambridge, mind you) studying at 11 local schools, Brooklyn may as well have been the setting for Animal House. (Maybe it was? We've definitely never seen Animal House.) To draw attention to this fact, iSee Promotions put together an event called The Downtown Brooklyn Colleges Fest, part of which was a back-to-school party at the BAM South Site, featuring Pusha T, Biz Markie, Joey Badass, Action Bronson and more. Photographer Bex Wade was on hand to document it.
