Forgiving Chris Brown and just "putting the past behind you," eh? That is a pretty big topic to get into without any further explanation or a nuanced discussion, wouldn't you say? Is this not a highly public relationship that has been universally maligned as a horrific example being set for teen fans? And sort of weird to juxtapose extremely heavy life events like death of a family member or domestic abuse with advice like "turn lemons into lemonade," isn't it?
But maybe I'm off-base. Maybe what youth today really needs is a reminder of all the wonderful things the future can hold for you, regardless of context or appropriateness to the situation. Wonderful things like this:
