Brooklyn is getting wet, just thinking about the new season of Girls. It’s not coming out until January 13th, but we’ve got a solution to your blue balls. These divas were art worlders trying to make their way up the ranks of the New York scene, with mixed results. That online TV show first aired in 2009, produced with the help of Index magazine and Art Production Fund. In 2009, the three divas emceed the first Rob Pruitt Art Awards.
We expect more artiness in the new season of Girls. According to the Los Angeles Times, Lena Dunham’s mom, photographer Laurie Simmons, makes a cameo as a New York dealer resembling art world heavyweight Barbara Gladstone.
