Spring/Break: March 7 - 10
This new “curator-driven” fair offers a “break” from the typical model (quotes theirs), with a fair in one of the city’s oldest school houses. While that’s actually pretty on-trend with the Dependent's hotel rooms, the Independent's no walls, and the Moving Image's all-video fair, you will find a range here. The show includes curators more devoted to the emerging scene, from NURTUREArt’s Marco Antonini and Interstate Projects’ Tom Weinrich to blue chip dealer Simon Lee and art marketing strategist Maureen Sullivan, previously of Creative Time. I have no idea what this will look like, but Hyperallergic’s Liz Filardi sounded blithely neutral about it last year.
