What to Wear
Well, now, this is the most fun part really. You don't want to be costume-y, but there's nothing wrong with sartorially invoking a past era—especially one as fun as the late '60s. One of the best vintage stores in Brooklyn is Odd Twin, where you're less likely to come across someone's cast-off J. Crew sweater and more likely to score some great peignoir from the 60s. So while Betty or Megan probably never needed to go thrifting, you could easily walk out of Odd Twin with something worn by women just like them many years ago. Odd Twin even has a great menswear selection, so you might be able to pick up a plaid dinner jacket and look just like Pete Campbell, if that's you're thing. Although, why would that be your thing? Please don't make that your thing.
Odd Twin; 164 5th Avenue, Park Slope
