Its a Disaster David Cross Julia Stiles
It's a Disaster: Getting a jump on the Rogen-Franco-Hill-etc. This is the End coming this summer, an indier cast led by David Cross, Julia Stiles, and America Ferrara rides out the possible apocalypse (or at least a major disaster) at an awkward "couples brunch" in It's a Disaster, which you can actually see over brunch at the Nitehawk Cinema if you want to get lightly meta and also pay a little too much for brunch. (I'm just psyched that the Nitehawk has shown more different new releases in the past couple months than they did for pretty much all of October through February.) I missed the press screening, but I am a sucker for small-scale high concepts.

They're heeeere... That is, more Halloween horror favorites, a Canadian cult classic, and a restored Ken Jacobs film, which he discusses here.

An all-time great continues a theatrical revival run, a bumper crop of October horror, and an extraordinarily rare Kathy Acker film.
