: I've been confusing these movies for the past few weeks, so let me get it straight: Aftershock
is Eli Roth-produced and Eli Roth-cowritten and Eli Roth-starring (I feel like unless the "starring" has to do with Quentin Tarantino, those three have to go hand-in-hand-in-hand, right?) post-earthquake horror movie about travelers trapped in Chile after a massive earthquake, while Sightseers
is about tourists who go on a black-comic killing spree (that is, a killing spree with allegedly darkly funny overtones, not one targeting African-American comedians). The former is playing at the Village East; the latter is hitting the classier IFC Center. They both sound like alternate-universe versions of Roth's Hostel
series and they'll both probably be around 10 to 14 days. Everyone got that cleared up?
