Emma Jane Austen

So this is the last movie tie-in that I'll complain about. And really, as far as it goes, this could be worse. I liked this movie. And I'm not overly precious about Jane Austen. Not at all. But this cover seems so unnecessary—I highly doubt that Emma wasn't selling before this cover came out. And it seems extra weird now that Gwyneth Paltrow is a cookbook author, with two books that also feature her smiling face on the cover. This seems more like a book about Gwyneth and tea than it does about anything else. Plus, if there absolutely had to be a movie related cover for Emma, let's face it, that should be Cher Horowitz's face staring back at us, right?
