The belly dancing classes at Namaste are fast-paced and choreography-heavy compared to some others, which makes them perfect for anyone dancing to get or stay fit. Put on a hip scarf and undulate to some Middle Eastern drum solos to tighten your abs, add snake arms and sculpt your shoulders. One class covers most of the basics, including hip rolls and no less than three types of shimmies. Classes are small and friendly, making it easy to have fun and forget you’re getting a real workout.
