Love this place! Very happy here and won't move elsewhere. Great teachers, experienced actors, friendly staff and there's lots going on all-week and all-year round from performances, free readings, charity auctions and all sorts. I've never felt intimidated at The Barrow Group. A bunch of nice people providing a very good service for actors and audience. Thanks guys!!
A very warm and comfortable neighborhoods watering hole in the Village. Cool live band from 8 on singing some Spanish/jazz music feels like a slowed down Gypsy . Very groovy sound after a few Happy Hour drinks.
This gallery changed it's name to Robert Henry Contemporary and moved to a new location at 56 Bogart St, Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY 11206 on June 1, 2012.

Stadium's newest show " The Agony and the Ecstasy" featuring works by Parker Ito is absolutely stunning! If you haven't seen it already, go see it, its something I wouldn't miss!
The press release on the upcoming show "Yin & Yang - Fusing Complementary Opposites" opening September 4th indicates an interesting collection of visualizations supporting this gathering theme.

As the curator of Wonderstruck in the Panorama: Drawings by Brian Selznick, an exhibition that opens on Sunday, September 25th at the Queens Museum of Art in Queens, NY, I had the great pleasure of meeting Brian for the first time in early 2009 when he contacted the museum to do research on our beloved scale model the Panorama of the City of New York. This exhibition and event are the culmination of a most fruitful collaboration with Brian that celebrates the release of his work with a talk and a book signing this Sunday from 4 to 6pm. Wonderstruck in the Panorama explores Selznickās creative process in constructing the worlds of Ben and Rose in original drawings, storyboards and book dummies, and simultaneously uses documentary materials to examine the process of building the Panorama itself. We invite you to share in the marvelous journey this exhibition promises! Wonderstruck in the Panorama runs from 9/18/11 to 1/15/12. This new media gallery is currently presenting an exhibition entitled "Urban Meditation" by Ji Sun Lee. Magnificent work and beautifully laid out in this gem of a gallery at the edge of Spanish Harlem. Check out their website: www.medianoche.us
They are not in Williamsburg any more. Can't wait for their new space! Great people, great events.
A GREAT VENUE---I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT WWW.WILLFILM.ORG ON THE 18TH THROUGH THE 21ST.
I got married there in August. The manager stiffed us on our deposit, breezing past the contractually obligated return date, offering nay but excuses up til this weekend. After three months of misleading us he blew up at my wife, telling her he had "bigger things" he was dealing with. He then suggested we concede our deposit as a "charitable donation." Supremely disappointed.
One of the most consistently interesting and unpredictable galleries in the city.
This place is called The Green Union Building. I'm having my wedding there next fall. It's beautiful inside - exposed beam ceiling, brick, chandeliers. Really minimal and pretty.
