I had taken french years ago and was never able to really speak it even after living in Paris for a year. I have now taken French I and French II with Sam and am starting French III next week. For the first time in my life I am actually speaking French in sentences that I have constructed myself. I just returned from Paris last week and was able to communicate without stumbling for words or playing charades. I have learned more in these two classes with Sam than in many trips to France, a year stay in Paris and 3 college level classes. It is with his patience and knowledge of the French language that he is able to help each student succeed. He has had no problem targeting my strengths and weaknesses and figuring out how to challenge me based on my personal ability. I highly recommend his classes for anyone who would like a fresh take on learning French. His classes are great for those with experience who just want a refresher or for those who have never studied French before. Sam is truly a gifted teacher and I'm sure will get you speaking too.
Yanky36 your taste buds must be dead or diseased. The food is unbelievable!!!!
This place is really classic. I'm always surprised it's only actually been around 10 years or so.
Kind of expensive for the neighborhood and the food prepared in the house is not that great, neither amazing.
Great selection of organic food. Reasonable-- and nothing like it in the nabe.
Are they still in business? The phone has been disconnected and I would like to find Dr. Patrick O'Shaughnessy. Their services are Excellent!
This writer of The Get Together has never visited the theatre and did not witness the so called abusing of his play. He has written to many media outlets using offensive language to describe the director of the play and others
His beef with us is based on a independent comment made by a journalist from Queensbuzz.com that described his play in a negative manner. This sent him in to a funk and he demanded we pull his play from our show which according to our agreement we were under no obligation to do.
What if every theatre canceled shows because of a bad review.
We can provide many testimonials from both customers and journalist that will attest to the quality of our shows and to the good times that people have when they visit us.
I repeat he has never been to the theatre, has never met either of the people he has defamed in the review that is posted on your site and this comment should be removed.
Word - cross country from NYC to Los Angeles would be dope.
Amazing iconic place! Thank god it's still around.
The Rivalry was incredible!
thank you to the owners of baco cafe,my son was very happy over there, they have a nice corner for kids to play it ,its very smart of you guys,my son had it very good time playing with your kids, the food was wow!!!!!!
thanks for last night, the food was amazing!!!!!
Funny, funny show. The actors had show much energy on stage running around back and forth it made me breathless.
If want to skip the what's been an unusually bad movie season and see a great live show, this is it. $20 in NYC to see these talented performers is a steal.
I'm the writer of "The Get-Together," one of the plays featured in this festival. Without my knowledge, without consulting me, the director totally changed the content of my play. It was changed from a simple, minimalist comedy ala Harold Pinter into a "swinger party." The artistic director, Rich Ferraioli, and the managing director, Richard Mazda, seem to think this is just fine and dandy. Do not support a theatre that uses and abuses its writers and considerable themselves untouchable.
They have an extremely poor customer service with a very dishonest business practice. When I received my order, I was expecting a brand new sealed product, but it arrived without any original sealed packaging and its original manufacturer tags had been removed. I had requested an exchange, but they never responded to my emails. I even tried chatting with them on live chat on their site and the lady was very rude then she cut me off. I even contacted one of their stores via phone and the guy was not friendly nor helpful at all. Their customer service is horrendously the worst online shopping experience I've ever had and they are a real JOKE!! I will never ever do business with them again!!
If you want proof, please do Google search of honest reviews from other unsatisfied customers who have dealt with them with poor ratings. I am one of those unlucky victims of their bad business practice.
Stay away from them. You have been WARNED...
The people that work here are awesome, the artists that show here are awesome. The openings they have here are...awesome. This is THE center of culture in Bushwick. If you are an artist that has not checked out this gallery, openings in particular, you have not yet experienced NY.
See Karen Black there, the afternoon designer. She's really good with creating custom bouquets. This place is expensive, and they won't kiss your ass but the cool flowers are more than worth it.

I gave one star because I had to. The Owners are fast talking, intense and two faced who tried to hustle me as soon as I met them. The space is beautiful but the service is bad. I had a friend who was an employee of baco. After they quit they said that the owners were unable to keep up with many health code standards and where very abusive to their staff.
