A very warm and comfortable neighborhoods watering hole in the Village. Cool live band from 8 on singing some Spanish/jazz music feels like a slowed down Gypsy . Very groovy sound after a few Happy Hour drinks.
Great place, lots of fun, not too crowded.
Over there in West Chelsea gallery land, this tiny performance space is a completely fascinating and immersive venue in which to see a show. From what I can tell it's only very rarely used, which is a shame because it has so much more character than comparable black box spaces.
If your carnality has overtaken your ethical reservations as of late, what better place to indulge than here, where you can order a vegan "double down" (KFC's literally heartstopping concoction of bacon sandwiched between two fried chicken patties; there IS also a wilted piece of lettuce to feed your tiny conscience) for close to nine dollars. It's freakin' worth it. Thankfully, the heartburn and dietetic guilt come free of charge.
solid (and fast), not really thai food at all but has lots of great (heapingly large) noodle dishes and tasty finger food appetizers - place can be LOUD but is an awesome people watching place... communal seating means you might (most likely will) end up seated at the same table as someone you don't know but that is a big part of this place's charm. like a big trendy asian grad school cafeteria with servers? I always have a pretty good time here!
Jesus this show sounds amazing!!!
This place is awesome!! My buddies and I went there recently. The music and people were a lot of fun! A lot of cute girls too!! The staff was courteous and service was prompt. The bartenders really seemed to enjoy themselves while working. You have to get to this bar early for it can get quite crowded in no time flat. Drinks were priced well considering that its SoHo which was also a pleasant surprise! A great time!!
This writer of The Get Together has never visited the theatre and did not witness the so called abusing of his play. He has written to many media outlets using offensive language to describe the director of the play and others
His beef with us is based on a independent comment made by a journalist from Queensbuzz.com that described his play in a negative manner. This sent him in to a funk and he demanded we pull his play from our show which according to our agreement we were under no obligation to do.
What if every theatre canceled shows because of a bad review.
We can provide many testimonials from both customers and journalist that will attest to the quality of our shows and to the good times that people have when they visit us.
I repeat he has never been to the theatre, has never met either of the people he has defamed in the review that is posted on your site and this comment should be removed.
Word - cross country from NYC to Los Angeles would be dope.
got to see Little Boots here about a week ago...it's got a great space for concerts and the circular stage makes for a really good show.
Yes, I have saved the remains of a Crocodile Lounge pizza in my purse for later.
Great sweet potato fries. Loses points for having separate spinach dip and artichoke dip appetizers, rather than combining the two.
I think the people behind Diner do this place. It's awesome. Really good Mexican. I hate cilantro so sometimes I get stopped in my tracks, but I can't blame them for that. Other than my own aversion to cilantro the place is unbelievably good.
Avedon's show at Pace in winter was amazing. I hope this show is as somehow better.
