Re: “The Fully Designed Life

That chair is amazing! I skimmed through the mag when it arrived in the mail, then later found myself longing for a beautiful leather chair with the perfect patina. Where did Bleibtreu find this gorgeous piece of furniture?

Hip but classic at the same time - a wonderful and successful combination! I can't wait to visit the store to make some purchases. Thanks for offering a very special place filled with unique items ....

Re: “Momofuku Milk Bar Carroll Gardens

Perhaps your lackluster review of this location has something to do with your lack of information regarding the actual product (i.e. the cereal milk is NOT made with Fruit Loops, but with cornflakes; additionally, the veggie bagel bomb uses dill and cucumber cream cheese, NOT chive). In all, you don't have to like the location or the product, but maybe you should try it before your bash it (and not falsely describe the product--it demonstrates how amateur a writer you are) --Melinda (Smith St. Momofuku lover)

Re: “A Brief History of Controversial Art

@Dan
1. Thanks for the correction on the Chagoya mistake.
2. Now you're just trolling. (Really, it's controversial because she's THIRTEEN?! I thought it was because she looks like a ten-year-old.)

Re: “A Brief History of Controversial Art

You didn't even mention the fact that Brooke Shields is THIRTEEN in the Gary Gross photo, which is why it's "controversial". Lazy lazy lazy.

Re: “A Brief History of Controversial Art

The Misadventures of the Romantic Cannibals is a piece by Enrique Chagoya, not the random "amateur painter", Edwina Echevarria, quoted in the article you read. All it takes is a simple google search to fact check anymore, stop being so lazy.

Hahaha! "...in the shadow of a building owned by future US President, Donald Trump."

That was amusing.

Re: “Fashionable Bystander: Justine D.

She pretends to be such an unassuming sweetheart, but the true Justine is a conceited bitch who believes she's light-years above/better than those she deems beneath her (which,sadly, includes most people). Girl needs a reality check badly. Another case of overblown New York City ego. Yes, she's accomplished a lot, which I do not begrudge her, but at the end of the day, she's a straight-up c-unit. Sad, considering what a nice girl she genuinely used to be years ago.
