Nit-Picking: Not even sure if bird flu existed in 2001. First documented cases were in 2004.
A pretty good story, though.

Re: “Poetry: To the Mustache of the Guy in the "Che Guevara is My Homeboy" T-Shirt...

Che was a total clown and anyone who follows him is a misguided, lost soul desperate for a strong figure to latch onto. All Che had were some brave-sounding quotes, even as “revolutionary” and terrorist he couldn’t get it done. Total loser.

Re: “Poetry: Dylan Thomas Was Dead

amazingly honest; "if we had been men, we would have been the only ones in the bar without ties on" is pretty incredible.

Tactful and sincere, this story makes me smile in a awkward kind of way. I must say wonderful job, Ms. Lovell, wonderful job.

Re: “Ps and Qs

Mark Twain said it best: "As to the Adjective: When in doubt, strike it out!" Mission accomplished. Too many writes "tell" when they should "show." You clearly know the difference.

Re: “Ps and Qs

Dear Miss Lovell,

It seems to me that you have some fucked up friends. I should know, after all I am a doctor.

This story is brilliant and disturbing.

Re: “Ps and Qs

Very moving, very subtle. And short, which is how I like my short stories. Gold star, young lady.
