David Sedaris is one of the funniest authors out there, and this event also proved that he is one of the sweetest as well. It's a well known fact that he stays at the book store events until he signs everyone's books. What I didn't know until I met him at McNally Jackson was that he actually spends time talking to everyone and personalizes every book inscription. More often than not, he also gives you something when he signs your book; usually a trinket, a food item, or in my case, Bvlgari soap "to wash my patients' tears off my shoulder." I loved David Sedaris for years, and this makes me love him even more. Every Sedaris fan needs to go to a book tour and get a book signed. This was totally worth the 4- hour wait in line for me!
i heard they announced a new album but cant find the release date. last one is really good but they upgraded their drummer and now their new tunes are more iconic live. i bet the album is awesome
