In my defense, it works either way, & I love your stuff...
Ha - never mind, just re-read it properly for the 1st time (LOL)
I know you're an online writer, but you should use 'know' & 'now' properly if trying to be cutesy in story titles...
That someone could be pleased by my suffering to please them seems like a pretty good reason not to. I don't care for the elderly for that reason. I wonder if Gervais, who is the one true God, will be able to change my mind.
Now I'm just going to listen to "Hello in There" all day.
Skinny jeans are straight wack. Almost a surefire sign of wackness. I hate seeing all these vets conforming to today's wack trends and wearing skinny jeans instead of the baggy pants they wore throughout their career.
Dyker Heights, Bath Beach, Gravesend, Bensonhurst... screw the hipsters and a artists. These are real neighborhoods
While I enjoyed this review, I'm sure I can't be the first person to notice a unintentionally hilarious typo. In the beginning of the third section Joseph Neighbor writes "Meanwhile, Soto and his colleagues, wearing baklavas to protect their identities...". As I read this, a deep-rooted chuckle came up from my gut as I envisioned the men with honey syrup and chopped nuts dripping down their faces from the pastries atop their heads, which instead should have been covered by BALACLAVAS. Too bad spellcheck can't take context into consideration!
This just convinces me even further how repellent BDSM is. You must be mentally ill to want to like this kind of stuff. Stepping on someone's neck? Making people vomit and make them eat it? Sex with no lubricant and not even stopping when the other person is telling you there's something wrong? Sick. Absolutely vile. what animals people can be reduced to. Rape is only one step away from BDSM and it shows
Where are the BLACK people? Brooklyn? More bullshit!

Thanks for the intelligent and beautifully written article. Definitely captures my experience of her songs, her performances and her being. Her performance in San Francisco was a masterpiece, building slowly from electric guitar, to piano and back to guitar, her playing and singing gaining in precision and elegance as the evening unfolded. She began Good Woman, but the guitar was not in the right tuning, she paused to tell us that, then after a few seconds changed the chords to suit her voice and it was beautiful. Wonderful to hear her solo singing all the songs I love so much.
Knowing that most people flush with their feet, why would anyone flush with their hands?
Every time I think nobody else would get it, I realize I'm underestimating others who love Chan's music equally. That review perfectly described my own feelings - as if the writer read my mind. Recently my addiction has moved backward chronologically, and now I'm hooked again on Myra Lee and Community.
Love ya, Chan. You've been on my sleepytime playlist and running through my mind for I don't know how long. Stay right there for as long as you like.
What a great read! Music, hers in particular, has kept me here. It's been a rough year... Thank you, CP <3
