Performance Lab 115's retelling of the Brecht classic imbues the narrative with distinctly American themes (and a dark folk score from Mark Valadez), setting the action in an unfinished luxury condo building taken over by squatters. Loosely extrapolated from our current time, this landscape of war, poverty and environmental catastrophe juxtaposes extremes of poverty and wealth.
