Since the mid-1960s, Graham's career has taken part in and often lead virtually every new development in contemporary art, from conceptual and performance art through Minimalism, film and video. This first major American retrospective of Graham's work chronicles works from the 1960s until the present, and includes the various commercial projects with magazines and musical artists that have brought Graham's work to a larger audience.
