What Old Movie Theaters in Brooklyn Look Like Now

The Dyker Theater on 86th Street, east of Fifth Avenue, opened in 1926 and shuttered in 1977, according to Cinema Treasures. See old photos here (scroll to the bottom) and here. The old vertical sign has been replaced with one for Modells, which is up in the old balcony; if you go in and ride the escalator up, you can look up at the big old awesome domed ceiling.
