Indie rock and Polish delis, as it turns out, aren't the only thriving cultural scenes in Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Once again working hand in hand with the Williamsburg Gallery Association, this year's edition of Northside will aim to spotlight the emerging visual artists who call New York home. Throughout the festival, we'll be incorporating exhibitions, special events and musical performances at over 25 of the most respected art galleries in the 'hood.

UPDATE: All galleries will be open late on Friday, June 25, until 9 pm.

Check out the schedule of events below. For more detail, check out the Williamsburg Gallery Association website.

Camel Art Space

Various artists, Drawing of the Year

Drawing of the Year is an exhibition comprised of works on paper by all the artists that have shown at Camel over the past year; a year in review if you will. The works in show are 'drawing/printmaking/photography' related, but this theme has also been interpreted more loosely, taken more liberal towards whatever means lied within the artist's methodology. Simultaneously will this be a celebratory event to toast to the anniversary of Camel Art Space.
