FILM AT NORTHSIDE
New this year is an in-competition DIY short and features festival, bringing upstart movie makers to UnionDocs in Williamsburg for their films to be screened before a mash-up jury of DIY pioneers, Brooklyn celebrities and established directors. Prizes include cash, an exclusive Northside Rooftop Films screening, and camera rental packages. IDEAS AT NORTHSIDE
New to Northside this year, the Ideas Festival will feature panels throughout Saturday and Sunday afternoon geared toward the “Creators” and “Innovators” defining what’s next in their social space and how the two groups intersect in doing so. Stay tuned for more on panel presenters, performers and schedules.

ART AT NORTHSIDE
In conjunction with Greenpoint Open Studios, nearly every artist space and gallery located in Williamsburg and Greenpoint will open their doors free to the public during the Saturday and Sunday of Northside in an effort to showcase what’s next in emerging art. Northside Open Studios, as we’ve come to call it, will be the largest open studios event in Brooklyn.
