Not a single person of color was to be found anywhere?! Are you sure these were NYC bands and not Orem, Utah? I guess 70% of NYC isn't making music worth listening to? And people wonder why the industry is so messed up and nothing but crap is getting played?
Get up to the Bronx and to the parts of Brooklyn (er, diet Manhattan) that aren't 1-2 stops from the city.
Those cats put these librarian bands to shame.
