While I expected to get the swine flu (and I have) and I expected the Grammy nominations to be more humorous than anything else (which they are) I didn't expect the NY State Senate to completely fail us again (which they have - http://bit.ly/8euVhS). I guess there's still a large part of me that's optimistic.
