I would never say You Tube is the ideal way to see a movie, but thanks to coming across the wonderful discovery that people have downloaded movies on it, much as you discovered it, I have happily been able to see many films I've always yearned to. Just recently I have seen "The Pumpkin Eater", "Seance on A Wet Afternoon" and "The Whisperers", three films with Best Actress-nominated performances I've always wanted to see, but they are not on dvd in America and I always seem to miss the once-a-year showings (if we're lucky) that TCM allows us. I was supremely grateful for the opportunity it gave me. Many people like me would love to have films presented in beautiful condition on dvd, but we'll take them in any form just so long as they are available to see and not locked in a vault.
